This Privacy Policy explains how Red Desert Check-In collects, uses, stores, and shares information in connection with its website, free online assessments, service requests, consultations, and client services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide through our website, online assessments, booking or request forms, consultation scheduling, customer agreements, payment process, visit-detail forms, email, text, phone, or other direct communications.

2. Free Online Assessments

The Care Confidence Assessment and Home Safety Checkup run in your web browser. Your answers are not sent to Red Desert Check-In while you take them. If you ask to have your Care Confidence results emailed, we receive the first name and email address you enter, your results summary, and whether you checked the box to receive tips and updates. We use this to send your results. We only send tips and updates if you checked that box, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

A client may request services for another person, such as a family member. If you provide information about another person, you represent that you are authorized to provide the information reasonably necessary to request and coordinate the service. Please do not submit information that is not necessary for Red Desert Check-In to evaluate or perform the requested service.

Exact addresses, entry instructions, door or gate codes, lockbox information, alarm instructions, and similar access information should be provided only after a request has been accepted and only when needed to perform the agreed service. We use such information for service coordination and access. Clients should notify us when access information changes or should no longer be retained.

When appropriate and authorized, Red Desert Check-In may take photos in connection with a visit and provide them to the authorized client or contact. We do not use identifiable client, service-recipient, home-interior, or private-property photos for marketing without separate permission.

We use third-party service providers to operate portions of the business, including website hosting, scheduling, email delivery, payment processing, electronic agreements, and similar business functions. These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. Current tools include Koalendar for booking and consultation scheduling, an email-delivery service for assessment results, and Etsy for sales of printable products such as the Family Care Binder. Payment and agreement providers may change as our business systems evolve.

We do not sell personal information. We may share information when reasonably necessary with service providers acting on our behalf; with a person you authorize; when required by law, court order, or legal process; or when reasonably necessary to protect safety, rights, property, or prevent fraud or misuse.

Red Desert Check-In is a non-medical service and is not a healthcare provider, home health agency, or emergency response service. Please do not use our website or forms to seek emergency assistance. Call 911 for an emergency. Please provide only the health- or safety-related information reasonably necessary for us to understand the requested non-medical service and safely perform an agreed visit.

12. Children's Information

Our website and intake process are intended for adults arranging services. We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children through the website. An adult arranging an authorized service involving a minor may provide information reasonably necessary to evaluate and perform that service.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, tools, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of the policy will indicate the current version.
